20-minute initial phone consultation: Free

50-minute individual session: $150

You can make payment through email transfer or credit card. Upon completing the session payment, a receipt containing my registration number will be issued to you.

Insurance coverage

Counseling and psychotherapy services offered by a Registered Social Worker are not included in OHIP coverage; however, they may be covered by various extended health benefit plans. Please consult with your insurance provider to determine your eligibility for reimbursement.

Since 2012, clinical services provided by registered social workers qualify for a tax credit through the Medical Expense Tax Credit (METC). Registered Social Workers are recognized as medical practitioners, allowing you to claim psychotherapy services on your taxes. For more information on claiming the METC, visit www.cra.gc.ca/medical.

In the event that you cannot attend a scheduled session, kindly reach out to me at least 48 hours in advance to either cancel or reschedule. Missed sessions with less than 24 hours' notice will incur the full fee charge.

Maintaining confidentiality is a crucial aspect of fostering a secure and supportive environment, allowing you to confidently address your challenges. The confidentiality of your clinical record is of utmost importance, and no disclosure to a third party will occur without obtaining your written consent.

As practitioners registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, we strictly uphold the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.

There are specific legal obligations that may require us to breach confidentiality to ensure the safety of a client or another individual. These instances include:

• The presence of a risk of harm to oneself or another person

• Suspected child abuse or neglect for a minor under the age of 16, which mandates reporting to the Children’s Aid Society under the Child and Family Service Act

• A court of law subpoenas clinical records related to an incident (we will make efforts to contact you before any information is released, if possible).
